About Epista

Epista is a fast growing software company, which will be launching a web 2.0 Software-as-a-Service platform in the spring of 2008. Our on-demand platform will revolutionize the way businesses and consumers use calculations and analytics. We have huge ambitions and expect to gain global reach within 12 months from launch.

Epista was founded in central Copenhagen (Denmark), where the core development team is still located. We have grown from 3 to 20 people during 2007 and have just set up sales & marketing operations in US (Silicon Valley) and a "nearshore" development unit in Lithuania. We expect to be 40 people by end 2008.

Epista is backed financially by Sunstone Capital - one of Scandinavia's largest venture capital companies, managing funds or more than US$ 350 million.

Our Platform

Our community is being developed on Drupal CMS. We are building a fully blown web 2.0 community with user driven content, forums, wikis, gallery listings, user ratings, collaboration, etc.

The community integrates into our core software service, which is based on web-services, Wicket, Spring Framework, and Java/J2EE.

Consultants for Drupal Implementation and Launch

Our "Community Development Team" mainly consists of web designers and web developers, covering technologies like XHTML, CSS, Flex/Flash, JavaScript and PHP skills.

We want to expand the team with senior Drupal experience/skills.

We are looking for a person that can take responsibility for implementing and customizing Drupal on our platform, working closely with our web designers, web developers and Java software engineers.  We expect you to both implement and educate the existing team members on best practices on Drupal.

Ideal candidates have …

• Professional experience using Drupal 5
• Drupal theming & security experience
• Drupal configuration experience
• Experience implementing, customizing Drupal and popular modules
• Preferable experience deploying and system optimizing Drupal installations 
• Experience with agile development and working in small teams

We are looking for innovative, creative, out-of-the-box thinking people that like to engage in challenging tasks and state-of-the art technology. We expect at least 2-3 day per week onsite at Epista in central Copenhagen.
